Feminist Anti-war Resistance: a grassroots women-led movement against Putin’s regime and war in Ukraine
mit Lölja Nordic (anarcho-ecofeminist, anti-war activist, human rights defender and artist from Saint-Petersburg, since 2022 in Vienna in exile)
In her presentation, Lölja Nordic will describe how Feminist Anti-war Resistance operates as a network of activists working both underground inside Russia and openly in multiple countries in exile. She will discuss the variety of their projects and tools to resist Russian militarism, state propaganda and promote feminist solutions for peace and justice. In the end, we will talk about the problems concerning the cooperation between Russian and European civil society on the issues of war, the global rise of the right and authoritarianism.
